To get ready for Election Day, KP read the story "Duck For President" and learned about how this fictional story tells about some real things that candidates do when they are running for office. Then we had our own mock election. Students created voter identification cards, compared & contrasted the candidates, filled out ballots, and voted. They had so much fun!! Duck won in a landslide!

Happy Diwali
Kindergarten got to learn all about Diwali on Friday. The made firecracker rings, read stories about traditions, played a game with diyas, and learned some traditional dances. We are so thankful to the parent volunteers who organized this for our students!
