This week we explored how living things use their environment to survive. Thursday, students chose an animal to draw in it's environment making sure to include things it needs like food and water.
KK enjoyed the beautiful fall weather this week doing everything from drawing with chalk at choice time to leaf fights at recess.
Today, KK learned about Diwali, a holiday special to many of our classmates. Our friends shared things their families do to celebrate. We also read a book, watched videos, and helped start the school wide rangoli. Check out how it looked after the last class had their turn. Wow!
KK had a blast at our Fall Party playing bingo, making a pumpkin craft, watching Spookly, and investigating our pumpkins!
