Winter Party

For our Winter Party, students ate a yummy rice krispy treat snack then made snowman ornaments ⛄

After that, we played antler ring toss (which we all agreed was very hard) and two fun snowball games.

Thanks to all the room parents for planning and organizing!

Polar Express Day

Students had fun reading the book "The Polar Express" and watching the movie in their PJs. We even drank hot chocolate and had golden train tickets just like in the story and movie.

Building Reading Muscles and Stamina!

KK had fun showing off all of their reading SUPER POWERS while snuggled up in their PJ's with their reading buddy.

Writing Partners

One way students can tell if their story is finished is by reading it to a friend. This helps them notice places where they need to edit or revise. We have been working hard on making our writing easy for others to read too.

How can we cut flat shapes to make new shapes?

KK was ready for the shape challenge! Students enjoyed turning their rectangular paper into rectangles, triangles, and squares. They then used their shapes to create something.

Giving Assembly

We got to watch the Giving Assembly happening live! KK friends learned about where all the items collected are going and who it will help. They're favorite part was seeing some of their classmates during the "Give Light" sing-along.
