KK took a walk outside to find lots of different kinds of shadows.

It's Grow Time!

We had so much fun exploring the new OB Community Garden and getting to plants seeds, flowers, and herbs in our plot we share with KG.

Earth Day

KK spent the week learning about Earth Day. We created posters that told reasons why we need to take care of the Earth and how people can take action. We also tried out the painting technique, pointillism, and filled our bulletin board with art and Earth Day messages.

Spring is here!

KK took advantage of the beautiful spring weather this week and did our independent reading outside! We're so lucky to have such a great outdoor classroom!

Buddy Reading Is the Best!

KK loves buddy reading at the end of each week. Students share their favorite stories from their book bags that they have been independently reading all week long.

Writing Our Opinions

KK is working on writing our opinions and telling why. This week we are writing about something we think is fun. We wrote a story on why recess is fun as a class.
