Reading Campout
KK had fun at our Reading Campout! We listened to stories about camping, spelled camping words, snuggled up in our "tents" to read with friends.
Career Day
KK enjoyed learning about being a doctor from Dr. Neha Mehta-Shah. We learned about how there are different types of doctors, got to put together the human body, and even listen to our own heartbeats with our very own stethoscopes!

Senior Grad Visit
We got to cheer on the Ladue seniors who attended Old Bonhomme. They paraded through the school in their cap and gowns then we learned about their plans for after high school. The whole school sang them "Give Light". Click here to see a clip!

Author Study: Mo Willems
KK had so much fun with our first author study. We read Mo's books, tried to draw his characters, and even write speech bubble stories of our own!

Three Billy Goats Gruff
KK enjoyed comparing and contrasting versions of the 3 Billy Goats Gruff. We used one version to practice storytelling. Students took on the roles of characters and used their voices and bodies to act out the book.
