Lucky To Be In KK!

To celebrate spring time, we created rainbows. Students then wrote compliments on each others. It was a great reminder of all the good friendships we are building here in KK and how lucky we are to spend each day together.

Galimotos

KK students were problem solvers as they designed and redesigned their galimotos so that they could be pushed and pulled. Check out videos of the finished projects in the March album.

Speed and Force 🏎

Here are some questions we explored during this week's experiment:

How much force is needed to get the car to the finish line?

What do we need to differently if the track is changed?

Experimenting with Force

We are learning about how objects can be pushed and pulled. Today students tried different types of force to see how objects can be moved. We used our hands, a feather, and magnets.

Black History Living Museum

Today KK students got to explore our school's Black History Living Museum in the library. Each classroom chose someone to learn about and then create an exhibit for. KK learned about author Jacqueline Woodson and how she writes stories with positive messages and diverse characters so children can see themselves represented in the books they read.
