Each February OB creates a space for students to learn more about Black History Month. This year, each classroom chose a person to study and create a star for a walk of fame. KK learned about artist, author, and activist Faith Ringgold. Students chose the facts to display on her star and helped glue pieces of scrapbook paper to make it look like a quilt since Faith is best known for her story quilts. Students also had a chance to create their own story quilt. We hung these in our hallway.
Welcome our classroom blog! Here you will find important information, schedules, and photos and videos of KP students as they grow, learn, and have fun at school!
