KK students had a blast participating in OB's STEAM Day! They day started of with an assembly from Fun Weird Science. The rest of our day, we rotated through 4 stations where students learned how to code, engineer structures, problem solve, and much more. There are many more photos and videos in the February album!
This week we wrote about feelings and added details like why we felt that way or what we did to feel better. On Friday, students enjoyed sharing stories with the class.
Students loved the story Walking Through The Jungle by Julie Lacome. It had us wondering, making noises, and even adding actions. Can you guess what animals we are? Click the link for a video too.
We are diving into our unit on place value. KK has been playing math games all week to help build their fluency on identifying teen numbers as a ten and ones, as well as, counting by tens. Sparkle is definitely their favorite!
OB kindergarteners are so lucky that our coaches took the time a few years ago to write a grant for bikes and helmets so they can learn bike riding skills and safety during PE. They were having so much fun!
